IP Devel was created in October 2000 to provide complex IT outsourcing services, focused for the beginning on software development services. The two cofounders – Mr. Bogdan Putinica and Mr. Daniel Bogdan - decided to set up IP Devel after identifying an ever increasing need on the offshore markets for high quality services combined with the optimization of business costs resulting in an important competitive advantage for clients who embraced this partnership model.

Soon after, the first international client revealed the potential of the external markets and was also a proof of IP Devel’s potential of providing top quality services at international standards.

Since then, IP Devel penetrated challenging markets like Japan and Hong Kong in Asia, together with traditional ones like Europe and The U.S.A. The main success drivers were its highly specialized people and its strategic partnerships.

Every year, the company doubled its size. This accelerated overall growth of the company proved its success on the offshore outsourcing market and made of IP Devel one of the offshore outsourcing leaders coming from the Romanian market.

As IP Devel is traditionally oriented towards offering high quality services, the company’s management team has a strategic approach of standards being committed to keep quality at the highest level. It is our goal to always improve services and our internal processes and procedures. As a result of IP Devel’s concern for quality, the company is ISO 9001:2000 certified since September 2002.

Since 2004, we closely follow the CMM Level 3 standards as we are in the process of obtaining certification for our mature software development services.

During 2004, IP Devel moved in its third headquarters, a facility designed to satisfy all the international standards concerning the infrastructure and the technology, as well as a to provide the extra office space required by our growth plans.
