BOT stands for Buid-Operate-Transfer. The BOT model can be defined by explaining each of the three steps it includes:

• Operate the offshore facility and customize it in order to provide the right people and tools for satisfying the customer’s needs;
• Transfer the offshore facility to the customer once it is fully functional and the processes are well controlled.
